* The Alzheimer Society of Canada - funds research
* The National Cancer Institute of Canada - funds research
* The Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - funds research
* The Rick Hansen Foundation (Wheels in Motion Fund Drive) - funds research
* Neuro Science Canada - funds research
* The Canadian Diabetes Association* The Canadian Celiac Association - supports in principle, no current funding* Sick Children’s Hospital, Toronto - engages in research
* The Huntingdon Society of Canada - will fund research
* Special Note on the Terry Fox Run. The Run does not directly support embyronic stem cell research. The Run does give money to the National Cancer Institute of Canada, which does fund such research. However, the Run does stipulate that the funds it donates to NCIC are not to be used for such research.
