Dear Friend of Life,

We bring to your attention once again the ongoing campaign to force New Brunswick taxpayers to pay for abortion on demand at the Morgentaler abortuary in Fredericton. This campaign is waged on two fronts: (i) Morgentaler’s lawsuit against the Province; (ii) the federal government’s dispute with the Province.

The first is proceeding, a trial will get under way at any time, at this stage all we can do is pray for our province’s unborn children. The second is of more immediate concern.

As you may recall, under the Liberal administration in Ottawa, our Province’s refusal to fund private abortion clinics was taken to an arbitration panel. According to a Daily Gleaner report Feb. 18/06, this matter may soon be decided. We hope the new government is willing to drop the dispute.

We appeal to our supporters to pray for God’s will to be done.  We thank all those who have joined us in writing the federal health minister on this matter.  To date we have received no reply.

Thank you so much for your support at this time! Bless you for all the ways in which you join us in being a voice for the voiceless. God bless you.

Yours for life and love,

Peter Ryan, Executive Director
